T Park will pay special attention to the development of the export of IT services in the coming year 2022. In this article, we will share some of IT Park's plans for the development of this area.
It should be noted that the volume of exports of IT services and products in 2020 amounted to $16.3 million, and in 2021 - $40 million. Based on the analysis of development trends, in 2022 IT Park aims to bring the export volume to more than 100 million dollars. One of the main ways to achieve this mark is to actively search for companies in the field of IT and BPO (business process outsourcing) around the world and attract them for export activities to the Uzbek market. IT Park will analyze foreign markets and look for the most promising and suitable companies for Uzbekistan around the world. Work in this direction will be carried out jointly with the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Together with the MIFT, meetings will be organized with international IT and BPO companies interested in expanding their activities to the Uzbek market, which will bear fruit in increasing the number of the above-mentioned companies in Uzbekistan, and subsequently in increasing the export of IT-services and products.
Much attention will also be paid to creating conditions for launching new BPO directions. To this end, IT Park will also partner with Indian and Bangladeshi BPO companies to train local entrepreneurs and attract orders for them. The key event will be the holding in Uzbekistan of the International Summit on business process outsourcing with the participation of leading BPO companies from Southeast Asia and the CIS. The purpose of this summit will be to announce to the international community the birth of a new market for outsourcing services.
IT Park's attention will be focused not only on foreign companies. IT Park will also engage the local BPO business community to launch new BPO companies that will also work for export.
Among other things, it is planned to create a BPO Plug and Play Center, thanks to which foreign companies can operate and do their job without worrying about office requirements, reinvest the money saved in the further development of their business, ensuring sustainable growth in the long term.
The Plug and Play Center will play the role of a sandbox where interested companies can get acquainted with all the processes of a BPO company and subsequently become a BPO company.
As a result of effective integrated work in the direction of developing the export of IT services in Uzbekistan, IT Park will be able to realize the export of IT-services in the amount of $100 million by the end of 2022, and in 2025, continuing hard work in this direction - $500 million.
