Favorable conditions are being created for entrepreneurs to provide services in the field of digital technologies

The Resolution of the President “On measures to create favorable conditions for service provision to entrepreneurship entities in the field of digital technologies through international platforms” (No. RP-129 dated March 15, 2024) has been adopted.

According to the Resolution, as a legal experiment, the formalization of export contractual documentation for the provision of digitization services on international platforms is permitted.

Effective from April 1, 2024, within the framework of the legal experiment, contracts executed electronically for up to $100,000 (or its equivalent) on international platforms for the exportation of digitalization services (in accordance with the list of activities they are allowed to perform) by residents of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies (IT Park) shall be recognized as electronic documents and a paper copy shall not be required.

The enumeration of international platforms where contracts for the export of digitization services may be concluded is approved by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade.

As part of the legal experiment, IT Park residents are obliged to submit relevant information on foreign trade contracts into the Unified electronic information system of foreign trade operations through the UPIPS.
