For the first time in Tashkent, the forum "Uzbekistan-Korea ICT Business Partnership" will take place

On October 26, as part of the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2023, in collaboration with Korean partners such as Gyeongbuk Technopark, Nipa, UNIDO Korea, and KOIIA will take place  the first "Uzbekistan-Korea ICT Business Partnership". The event will host a series of B2B meetings involving more than twenty Korean IT companies.

The forum provides local IT companies with the opportunity to enter into contracts with Korean partners and initiate new projects. The main speakers at the event will be Mr. Maeng-Ho Shin, Director of UNIDO Korea, and Ms. Yangjin Kim, Director of the International Cooperation Center at Gyeongbuk Technopark.

During this event, participants will discuss the important role of the ICT sector in the process of globalization, as well as the results of joint efforts to promote innovation and economic growth. Additionally, James Jung, the founder and CEO of beSUCCESS Media Group, will give a presentation on "How Uzbek companies can attract Korean investments and collaborate with major Korean companies?".

Furthermore, within the framework of the B2B meetings, local and Korean IT companies will conduct negotiations on the potential for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea, discussing shared visions for creating a favorable environment for technological progress and stimulating interaction to achieve mutual goals.
