IT Park starts accepting applications for participation in the Tumaris.Hack Central Asian Hackathon for female-developers

IT Park continues to support girls in IT and is in a hurry to announce great news!  From April 21, the acceptance of applications for participation in the Central Asian hackathon Tumaris.Hack for female developers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan starts.

Tumaris.Hack is an online competition for girls, where 2 days of continuous IT development, with the support of specialists, create prototypes of products that solve socio-economic problems.

 The hackathon will be held in 4 directions:

         1.  FinTech: development of mobile applications, websites or efficient algorithms that solve problems and contribute to the development of financial technologies.

 For example, innovations in personal finance, mobile trading, banking, asset management, trading, mobile payments, etc.

         2. E-commerce: innovations in the field of e-commerce.

 Purchasing, supply and delivery services, order processing systems, CRM-systems, online-stores, unique mobile solutions, and so on can serve as solutions.  The effect of the introduction of innovations should contribute to an increase in online sales, an increase in exports, as well as the promotion of goods in local and foreign markets.

        3. DeepTech: Designed for teams developing products using artificial intelligence, neuroscience, robotics, blockchain, and new materials.

 Projects must solve the fundamental problems of society and the economy, be distinguished by scientific and technological novelty, and also work at the intersection of various disciplines.

       4.  Wonder Women: As part of this direction, it is necessary to solve one of the tasks for the WonderWomen App mobile application, namely, to come up with a technology that will determine the emotional coloring of user messages and posts in the WonderWomen App or develop a method of authorization in the application only for women.

 WonderWomen App is a community within the app, where every woman striving for development can find like-minded people, share her expertise, knowledge and skills.  The application provides for communication in thematic subcommunities on topics of interest, comments and the creation of posts.

 The event will be supported by the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project, Digital Operator Beeline Uzbekistan, TBC Bank, and the community Wonder Women.

 Partners in the countries of Central Asia are:

 1. MOST Business Incubator the first private business incubator in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

 2. Ololo a creative hub and future city for digital nomads in Kyrgyzstan.

 3. Accelerate Prosperity a new global initiative providing technical expertise, creative finance and market connections to small and medium businesses in Kyrgyzstan.

 4. Ilmxona a skills accelerator that trains and employs people in the field of technology and design in Tajikistan.

 5. StartUp Academy a program for “pumping” a business or a business idea, as well as an effective way to find an investor for rapid growth and development in Turkmenistan.

 6. Harman consulting a consulting center for the provision of services to small businesses in Turkmenistan with high qualifications in the field of outsourcing services.

 Both individual applications and team applications (up to 3 people) are accepted.  Participants who applied in a single order will be formed into teams in the future.  So, in a team of 3 people, two participants must be girls, or a girl must lead the team.

 Applications will be accepted until May 23.

 The event will take place from May 27 to May 29 in an online format.

 The total prize pool of the hackathon is: $6,000 (in valuable prizes).
