From December 20 to 26 this year, under the leadership of IT Park with the support of the Fergana regional department of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, as well as in cooperation with the khokimiyat of the Fergana region, the week “ICT Fergana 2021” was held, within which a hackathon, ideathon, a robotics competition, an e-Sports competition, and an IT fair.
The events were attended by over 500 young people interested in information technology, innovative projects, and new developments. The main guests of the events were IT Park Director Farhod Ibragimov, IT Park Deputy Director for Innovative Development Jahangir Rajabov, representatives of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, heads of Uzbektelecom companies, as well as “iTeach Academy”, “Royal Taxi”, “RTM” and many others.
The week “ICT Fergana 2021” began with a hackathon and ideathon, where talented young people presented their startup ideas and innovative projects aimed at solving urgent problems of society in the field of education, logistics, employment, medicine, and agriculture. The robotics competition provided an opportunity to present their own developments to the jury members represented by qualified IT specialists, and the cybersport competition brought together like-minded people in disciplines such as CS:GO and Dota.
The winners of the hackathon were:
1st place: “MDEVS” team with the “Musofirlar.uz” project;
2nd place: “Iteach Pro” team with the “Raqamli shifoxona” project;
3rd place: “CODELANCERS” team with the “Eng tez yordam” project.
The winners of the ideathon were:
1st place: Sardorbek Sodiqjonov with the project “Turizm.uz”;
2nd place: Sanzharbek Ganiyev with the project “Elektron aylanma varoq”;
The 3rd place was shared by two participants Samandar Murodzhonov with the “CMD” project and Lazizbek Isajonov with the “Uzum” project.
The winners of the robotics competition were:
1st place: Murodiljon Tursunaliyev with the project “Valle robot”;
2nd place: Behruzbek Tolipov with the project “Smart fudbolka”;
3rd place: Ibrohim Mirzayev with the project “Nogironlar hassasi”.
The winners of the e-Sports competition were:
1st place: team “No Tinker”;
2nd place: team “Refresh Gaming”;
3rd place: team “Devil Boys”.
The winners of the contests were awarded valuable prizes in the form of laptops, tablets, TVs, and certificates from the organizers of the event. In addition, each participant received practical advice and recommendations for the further development and implementation of their project.
The IT fair presented popular IT areas that should be studied in the era of digitalization of industries, including mobile development, web development, graphic design, data analysis, project management, e-sports, and mobile robotics. Each of these areas has its own advantages since the demand for various IT products and services is growing rapidly. It should be noted that information technologies open new doors for people with disabilities since the latest IT developments help them master the professions of the future and take part in innovative projects.
Also during this event, a presentation was made for visitors about the activities of IT Park, IT Centers, ongoing projects, including IT Market and One Million Uzbek Coders, as well as the benefits of becoming residents of IT Park.
