Resident of IT Park “Step IT Academy” will hold a hackathon “ITEENS 2022”!

IT Park resident “Step IT Academy” organizes the 2nd annual hackathon “ITEENS 2022” for children aged 10 to 16 on design and programming.

The purpose of the hackathon is to involve talented young people in the IT-sphere and create innovative projects through solving applied problems.

Hackathon directions by age categories:

10-11 years old – 2D design, 3D modeling, game development, animation;
12-14 years old – 2D design, 3D modeling, game development, WebDesign, programming;
15-16 years old – 2D design, 3D modeling, game development, WebDesign, programming.

From 15 to 50 people per age category will be admitted to each direction.  If less than 15 people register for the direction, then the hackathon in this direction will not take place.

Conditions for participation in the hackathon:

 - Participants must be interested in programming or design;

 - the participant chooses the direction himself, based on his interests.  One participant cannot participate in several disciplines;

 - participants will have 2 days to come up with and implement their idea on a given topic;

 - everyone from 10 to 16 years old from all regions of Uzbekistan can participate;

 - all participants of the competition must have their own computer/laptop with all the necessary programs to complete the tasks.

 The prize fund of the hackathon is 17,500,000 soums.

 Important dates:
 - registration closing: March 10 at 18:00;
 - start of the hackathon: March 16 at 12:00;
- end of the hackathon and submission of works: March 18 at 12:00;
 - announcement of the finalists: March 25;
 - presentation of works by finalists and determination of winners: March 27-29;
- announcement of results: April 1.
