Results of the IT Park delegationʼs visit to Korea

From June 29 to July 3, the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation took part in the Korea Import Fair exhibition, and also took part in B2B meetings as part of the Made in Uzbekistan business mission, which was held in the capital of Korea, Seoul.

At the Korea Import Fair exhibition organized by KOIMA, IT Park presented itself as part of the Made in Uzbekistan delegation. Here, representatives of the delegation held negotiations with such companies as Inter-Blue Air&Sea, Prometis, Sentbe, Family International Co, Flitto, NC Tech, SingleStore, as well as with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia.

One of the significant meetings was the negotiations with the company Uplex, which expressed interest and intention to invest in Uzbekistan. The company plans to open a training center this year, which will train specialists to fulfill orders from the Korean office. In Uzbekistan, Uplex will become an outsourcing office for the R&D center and will deal with operations related to cloud development.

In addition, the IT Park delegation took part in the 2023 KOREA-UZBEKISTAN BUSINESS FORUM, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Korea jointly with the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

As part of the forum, companies from Uzbekistan presented presentations on opportunities and investment projects that attract foreign capital. In the afternoon, business meetings were held in the B2B (business-to-business) and G2B (government-to-business) formats between participants from the two countries.

The IT Park delegation made a presentation on the possibilities of cooperation with Uzbek companies and the opening of local branches in Uzbekistan. They also provided information on the support that the state provides in this area.

Participation in this event also provided the IT Park delegation with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their services and interact at B2B meetings with leading international IT companies.

Present IT companies and experienced specialists from Korea showed interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan. In the future, IT Park will continue to work on projects and proposals that were discussed during the forum.
