Strengthening Digital and Investment Cooperation with Qatar

The Ministry of Digital Technologies hosted a meeting with representatives of the Qatari company MBK Holding. The delegation included Mr. Avinash Deshpande, Executive Director; Yazen Kush, Director of Strategic Development; and Jasim Al Ejji, Department Director.

As part of the visit, the guests were presented with Uzbekistan’s advanced digital infrastructure. The delegation was thoroughly briefed on the activities of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, IT Park, and UZINFOCOM — a single digital integrator. In particular, they were introduced to biometric identification systems such as MYID Vision and MYID Palm, along with cutting-edge solutions in the field of digital public administration.

The meeting focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation, including digital education, startup development, artificial intelligence, as well as the training and professional development of specialists in digital technologies.

MBK Holding is a family-owned company established in Doha in 1969, specializing in digital technologies, high-tech solutions, and the support of startups. The company places particular emphasis on fostering young entrepreneurs and promoting innovative projects.

MBK Holding expressed strong interest in the following areas:

🔹 Integration of Qatari digital solutions
🔹 Recruitment of IT specialists from Uzbekistan to work in Qatari companies

Upon conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to jointly develop a roadmap for bilateral cooperation.
