The Roadshow has ended as part of the competition mGovAward

The road show has ended as part of the mGovAward competition for the development of mobile applications for the public sector, organized by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park in cooperation with the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The road show was organized to familiarize the youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Republican competition for talented and young developers, explain the conditions and requirements for selection, as well as motivate promising personnel to create unique IT-products.

The program began on February 24, 2022 and started with a performance at the digital technology training center of the Fergana region.  About 120 people attended the meeting.



Following Fergana, on the same day, representatives of IT Park arrived in Andijan, where they made a presentation of the competition in front of an active audience of several hundred participants.

The next day, February 25, 2022, the specialists spoke in Namangan and headed to Tashkent region, namely, to the Astrum IT Academy, where more than a hundred students also took part.

 On February 26 and 28, IT Park met with students from Inha, Amity and TUIT universities in Tashkent.  Also, meetings were held at Gulistan State University and Sambhram Indian University in Jizzakh.  In total, about 400 students took part in the events.



 On March 1, meetings were organized with the youth of Samarkand and Karshi, on March 2 – Bukhara and Navoi, and on March 3, IT Park representatives held presentations in Urgench and Nukus.  The final meeting was the meeting with the youth of Termez on March 5.

 The seminars were held by IT Park manager Jahongir Kagirov, with the participation of branch managers and representatives of the regional department of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications.  In total, more than 4,000 young people attended the mGovAward road show meetings.



 It should be noted that the most active participants received gifts from IT Park, namely, merch competition mGovAward.



 To date, more than 800 people have registered to participate in the competition.  Registration will last until March 31, 2022 inclusive.

 Recall that mGovAward – a Republican competition for development of the best mobile applications in the field of public services. The main goal of the mGovAward competition is to increase the interest of young people in working together with government agencies and to develop high-quality solutions for the development of public services.  IT Park will help the best developed solutions with their implementation in government institutions. The prize fund of the competition is 100 thousand US dollars.
