The third wave of the Republican contest mGovAward!

The third wave of the Republican competition for the development of government mobile applications, known as mGovAward, commenced on July 1, 2023.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park Uzbekistan, and the Government of the UAE.

The project aims to engage students in implementing new technologies and embracing innovative ideas that will help improve citizens' lives. Students from universities as well as students from general education and vocational schools in Uzbekistan are eligible to participate.

To participate, contestants will need to submit a 3-minute video and a working MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of a mobile application.

As part of the competition, participants will be required to develop a mobile application for the government sector in one of eight directions:

• Transport and logistics
• Data-driven solutions
• Education
• Entrepreneurship
• Human resources and well-being
• Environment and environmental protection
• Tourism

The total prize pool amounts to $100,000 and will be distributed among the top 3 winners:

• 1st place - $50,000
• 2nd place - $30,000
• 3rd place - $20,000
