"Uz-NLP Challenge" Artificial Intelligence Hackathon will be held
From December 23 to 25, 2022, the "Uz-NLP Challenge" hackathon will be held at Amity University in Tashkent.
The event is organized by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park, the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence and the Unified Integrator “UZINFOCOM”.
A hackathon is a time-limited competition in which teams need to create a product prototype or start-up project within a certain time frame. This hackathon is organized as part of activities to develop artificial intelligence among young people, including already held hackathons: Voice AI Challenge and Computer Vision Challenge.
The hackathon "Uz-NLP Challenge" will be dedicated to artificial intelligence and mathematical linguistics. Thus, the participants will have to create prototypes of products that will work with text, as well as with voice in the Uzbek language.
The event will be held in Uzbek and Russian.
You can apply for participation both individually – with the opportunity to find a team on the first day of the hackathon, and team – up to 3 participants in a team.
Based on the results of the hackathon, 3 prizes will be announced, which will receive valuable prizes from the organizers.
Applications for participation in the hackathon will be accepted until 18:00 on December 21, 2022.
