[December 27, 2019] The grand opening ceremomy of the specialized school named after Al-Khorazmi was held and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev bore a part in this event.

Muhammad Al-Khorazmi IT-School has been built in Tashkent city by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated from September 14, 2017 and specializes in profound study of subjects related to information and communication technology.

The head of state got acquainted with the conditions created in the classes, their facilities, and talked with teachers and students.

- The world still admires our ancestor Al-Khorazmi. The algorithm developed by him is the basis of modern technologies and software products. You should be proud of it, study hard and always be on the lookout for just like our great ancestor,” - said the President to young people.

The President noted the necessity to create in the school a branch of an IT park organized in Mirzo-Ulugbek district, open such centers in other regions of our nation, and facility conditions for young people interested in ICT.

Last year, a project for the school’s future infrastructure was launched and was the sample for new building that includes a conference room, a library, many advanced conditions and classrooms for lessons, and there are huge opportunities for optional classes using innovative techniques. There are special classes of companies as Artel, Ucell, ZTE and Huawei and others.

IT Park also did not stand on the sideline and decided to support young gifted talents. With its support, the school has created three rooms that have special conceptual meaning and connotation.

So, one of the classrooms is designed to teach BPO-skills to schoolchildren, and it also provides paid freelance work that young children will be able to do after school time.

Thus, the following audience is created for teaching robotics. There are all the necessary conditions for creating your own unique robots. Also invited are the necessary experts in this field for competent and high-quality lectures and practical exercises.

The third room is dedicated to motivate and search for inspiration, which are really necessary for creating and developing startups. Here, students can find many board games to help them relax and find new ideas, as well as books about famous entrepreneurs and ways to create their own business.

Relatively soon, IT Park branches will be opened near the Al Khorazmi school and plus in such regions as Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan and Khorezm, where special attention will be paid to the training of IT specialists, software development, export of IT services and the evolvement of robotics and cybersports.
