The Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation from the official and business circles of Shunyi District, Beijing, at the “Reception House” in Vodil.
The meeting focused on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening ties in the areas of economy, industry, investment, and information technology.
It was noted that the friendly and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China continues to deepen, reaching a qualitatively new level. The growing interregional cooperation between the two countries is creating a foundation for the implementation of promising joint initiatives.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation was presented with an overview of the economic and investment potential of the Fergana Region, as well as the favorable conditions established in regions.
In turn, proposals were put forward to establish cooperation between the Fergana Region and Shunyi District across several key domains. In particular, the prospects for collaboration in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, manufacturing, information technology, and tourism were emphasized as key drivers for the implementation of investment projects involving leading companies.
The regional governor expressed full support for the proposed initiatives, emphasizing that the introduction of advanced technologies and implementation of joint projects would play a significant role in achieving tangible results through interregional collaboration.
As a key outcome of the meeting, concrete steps were outlined to develop a comprehensive roadmap, form working groups, and deepen partnerships between the two regions.
The meeting concluded with the signing of contracts totaling $20 million between the People’s Government of Mapo Town, Shunyi District, and IT Park member Innotech Solutions LLC for the implementation of a software product developed by the company.
