IT Park increases collaboration with Irish companies

IT Park delegation attended the Dublin Tech Summit (from May 31 to June 1), an international technology conference that has been hosted in Dublin since 2017. The conference features exhibitions from IT companies, panel discussions, and speaker presentations. Representatives from over 60 different countries and 80 corporate partners from across the world took part the event.

The summit offered the IT Park delegation an opportunity to showcase Uzbekistan's potential in IT sector. Participants discussed the strategies for working together in IT outsourcing as well as the benefits and possible outcomes of setting up a representative office in Uzbekistan. Irish companies were invited to attend the Digital Leadership Forum, which will take place in Tashkent in July.

IT Park experts met with Enterprise Ireland Digital Technology Manager David Byrne as part of their business trip to Dublin. During the meeting, he spoke about the role of the group in aiding Irish businesses' international growth. Following the negotiations, the Irish company stated its willingness to share its extensive knowledge and expertise with IT Park.

The government organization Enterprise Ireland is in charge of promoting Irish business on international markets and assisting local businesses in exporting their goods and services to foreign markets.

The delegation also met with Rebecca Skeffington, IDA Ireland's Business Development Manager.

Representatives from IT Park were informed about the expanding ICT sector in Ireland and the numerous benefits it provides to businesses. The dialogue was concluded with the parties agreeing to establish cooperation and exchange experience in the future. Furthermore, the IDA Ireland executive team was invited to take part in the Digital Leadership Forum.

IDA Ireland is an agency in charge of bringing in and keeping foreign direct investment in Ireland. The agency was established in 1949, and in 1969 it was granted autonomy and became a government-sponsored non-profit organization. It now serves as a significant semi-state authority in Ireland's interactions with international investors.
