IT-Park together with Unbound conducted a qualifying round for FTAD and TIP!

On August 9, 2019, a qualifying round of international IT competitions was held in Tashkent.

In the GroundZero TechnoPlaza coworking center, IT Park, together with Unbound, held a qualifying round for the international IT competitions FinTech Abu Dhabi and TIP Summit.

FinTech Abu Dhabi collects startups in the field of financial technology, and TIP Summit collects startups in the Tech For Good area, which include: HealthTech, Energy, and EnvironmentTech. The winners of the qualifying round in Uzbekistan will go to the finals of the events to be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

50 start-up teams from around the world will participate in the FinTech Abu Dhabi finals, and 15 will participate in the TIP Summit finals. 2 teams will participate fromRepublic of Uzbekistan at the final events.

As the representative of Unbound Igor Ovcharenko mentioned, from Uzbekistan were sent a huge number of applications for participation. Although qualifying rounds were held in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, as well as in Azerbaijan.

It is reported that the FinTech Abu Dhabi qualifying round included: Abdulla Butaev - DiCredit.uz, Aslan Yakhtanigov - Payment Aggregation Systems, Alisher Alimov - Azma Bank, Nodir Badriddinov - Mayasoft Ltd, Ahadbek Dalimov - DigID LLC, Abdukakhor Tashmukhamedov - Green Solutions LLC; and in TIP Summit: Nigora Akilova - FOM GROUP, Eldor Abdukhamidov - Raisense, Ulugbek Kalanov - Integracia, Javokhir Jurakhonov - MakeCraft, Askar Jumanov - ERG.

The Republic of Uzbekistan at the FinTech Abu Dhabi final will be represented by the team of Nodir Badriddinov - Mayasoft Ltd (a mobile PoS terminal that allows you to accept payments from all types of payment cards in any way - through a contact and contactless chip or magnetic tape), and in TIP Summit ”- Nigora Akilova with the project “ Arzon Apteka ” (a service for finding drugs in pharmacies in Uzbekistan, which helps to determine the price and availability of drugs, location and the number of pharmacies), which are also participants in the acceleration program of IT-Park.

However, We would like to note that IT-Park is implementing two projects with partners from the UAE. The first is Unbound Tashkent and the second is mGovAward, the concept of which was developed jointly with the Ministry of the Future under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov.
