According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 3, 2019, in order to furtherly improve the IT sphere, create competitive and promising software products, expand outsourcing IT services for foreign countries and improve the quality of IT products in general, the Innovation Center for Supporting the Development And Implementation Of Information Technologies, the Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center has been discontinued and its residents are moving to the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies (shorterly IT Park).
This decision will give possiblity to combine joint efforts for the development of further IT culture and the startup ecosystem in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and will raise the quality of domestic IT products to a new grade.
In compliance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan number 17, dated January 10, 2019, the benefits of residents of the Technopark are granted by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2017 number UP-5099 “On measures to radically improve the conditions for the development of the information technology industry in the Republic”.
Let you remind that only Technopark performs full cycle of the startup ecosystem related to the information technology industry: starting from the birth of programming skills (IT Academy) and developing an IT idea (incubation program), continuing to develop a product prototype and test it on the real market (acceleration program) ending with benefits for improving IT business in Uzbekistan (residency).
