IT Park representatives convened with counterparts from Digital Knowledge to discuss digital education in Uzbekistan

During his visit to Japan, the CEO of IT Park, Farhod Ibragimov, held a meeting with representatives of the Japanese educational institution Digital Knowledge (founders of Japan Digital University – JDU in Tashkent). This significant event marked a stride towards fostering deeper collaboration aimed at nurturing talented youth in the field of information technology, thus contributing to unleashing Uzbekistan's IT potential on the global stage.

Japan Digital University, specializing in digital education, boasting a workforce exceeding 250 people and an annual revenue surpassing 4 million dollars, evinced keen interest in extending digital knowledge within Uzbekistan and exploring opportunities for collaboration to attract new companies and cultivate a fresh cohort of IT talent.

Mr. Yasuyuki Noguchi, the General Director of the university, articulated openness to collaboration, expounding upon the prospects of disseminating digital knowledge in Uzbekistan, as well as opportunities for cooperation in attracting new companies to the nation. It is noteworthy that Digital Knowledge has already facilitated the establishment of Friendly Tech in Uzbekistan, with their Tashkent office slated for inauguration in May 2024.

IT Park conveyed readiness to collaborate with Japan Digital University, underscoring their willingness to provide comprehensive support and assistance in implementing their initiatives in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, both parties assented to a future visit to Uzbekistan, particularly to Park Uzbekistan, as well as to facilitate the attraction and establishment of new offices for Japanese companies.
