Acceptance of applications for participation in the AgriTech4Uzbekistan Innovation Challenge has begun!

AgriTech4Uzbekistan Innovation Challenge is an international competition in which entrepreneurs and agricultural researchers present innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture in Uzbekistan and combat climate change.

The competition is organized by CGIAR Accelerate for Impact Platform in partnership with IT Park Uzbekistan, as well as with ICARDA, IWMI, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, innoWIUT under Westminster International University, Agency of Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, UNDP Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Venture Capital Association

Startups should be related to at least one of the following priority areas:

• digital agriculture and precision farming;

• building capacity;

• water resources management systems and irrigation;

• financial services;

• supply chain management.

Selected candidates will receive:

• a fully funded three-day bootcamp in Tashkent;

• acceleration program with a combined approach to learning;

• field experiments with end users;

• the opportunity to receive up to $30 000 without equity participation;

• access to global investors and much more!
