IT Park Uzbekistan and the Uzbek-French Economic Chamber Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

IT Park Uzbekistan hosted the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and the Uzbek-French Economic Chamber (CIIFO). The event took place during a business meeting attended by Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, and Joanna Golas, Chairwoman of CIIFO. The event was also graced by the presence of representatives from the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, led by Yan Kashinskiy, Director of the Economic Department. 

CIIFO (Chambre d’Investissement et d’Industrie Franco-Ouzbèke) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering trade and economic relations between France and Uzbekistan. Serving as a vital bridge between businesses of both nations, the Chamber facilitates the establishment of commercial partnerships, attracts investments, and supports joint initiatives in the fields of industry, technology, and innovation.  

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the digital technology sector, identifying several priority areas for future collaboration, including the establishment of a joint committee on artificial intelligence, an official visit by the French Ambassador to the IT Park headquarters, and the expansion of dialogue between French and Uzbek technology companies. 

The French delegation expressed keen interest in supporting the participation of French companies, investors, and institutions in the upcoming Uzbekistan Tech & Outsourcing Conference, scheduled for June 17 at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Paris. This initiative aims to deepen economic engagement and foster innovation-driven collaboration between the two countries.

The memorandum of cooperation with CIIFO represents a significant milestone in strengthening business and technological ties between Uzbekistan and France. IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to advancing international partnerships and creating new avenues for Uzbek IT companies to access European markets.
