Results of 2021: the number of IT-companies of IT Park residents amounted to more than 500

At the end of 2021, the number of IT Park residents amounted to 523 companies.  These residents operate in the following areas:

  - software development;

  - data processing;

  - automation of business processes;

  - IT training, as well as the export of information technology.

  Notably, out of 523 companies:

  - 431 residents are located in the city of Tashkent, the remaining 92 residents are registered in the regions;

  - 104 companies were established in 2021;

  - 78 companies provide educational services in the field of IT;

  - 18 companies were created with the participation of foreign capital;

  - 104 companies are exporters, of which 59 are in the development sector.

  IT Park resident status

  Last year, 221 companies received IT Park resident status, 124 companies were deprived of this status, and 88 companies were denied this status.
 

  The volume of services rendered and the export of residents

  In the reporting period, the total volume of services provided by residents amounted to 2.5 trillion soums, and the volume of exports of services - 46 million US dollars.

  At the same time, 83.2% of residents' exports go to the USA, the rest to the UK, Korea, the CIS and the UAE.  The export volume is expected to reach US$80 million by the end of 2022.

  In addition, thanks to the benefits provided, IT Park residents create additional jobs and increase the number of IT-specialists in our country.  So, at the end of 2021, 9,850 people were employed in resident companies.
