Award ceremony for ICT workers was held in Tashkent

On May 6, 2022, a solemn ceremony of awarding employees of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and subordinate organizations, timed to coincide with the Day of Communications Workers, was held in Tashkent.

The event was held at a specialized school with in-depth study of subjects in the field of ICT named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.  It was attended by the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov, as well as representatives of the territorial departments of the ministry, subordinate organizations and enterprises in the regions.

Sherzod Shermatov congratulated the employees on this significant date, thanked them for their contribution to the development of the industry and wished them great success in the future.  As the head of the ministry noted, today the introduction of information and communication technologies is becoming the main factor in the rapid economic growth and scientific and technological development of the state.

The heads and specialists of companies, societies, enterprises and organizations, as well as foreign and private enterprises under the Ministry, were awarded diplomas, the titles of “Mohir aloqachi” and “Master of their craft”.
