Reminding that the “Covid-19 Challenge 2020” is an online competition of innovative tools and solutions for mitigating the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, where innovators from all over Uzbekistan can collaborate and create innovations, combining knowledge, technology, entrepreneurial skills to help those who somehow affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The organizers of the competition are: UNDP in Uzbekistan, IT Park, the Youth Union and the Academy of Youth under the Ministry of Innovative Development together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Ministry of Health, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Center for Supporting the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship of Uzbekistan, the “Digital Trust” Foundation, World Bank and OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan

From April 7, 2020 to April 20, 2020, the selection for the competition “COVID-19 Challenge 2020” was held, where 600 applications were received.

Of the 600 projects, only 110 were able to go to the next stage. The interview lasted three days. Experts were specialists from government departments, international organizations and business.

Finalists from the third stage will be invited to mentor sessions next week. With each project, a program of possible implementation and development, product testing will be worked out. Following the results, we will highlight the winning projects!
Those who did not pass have every chance to finalize their project. In addition, you can separately receive an online consultation on May 5, 2020, at 16:00, at the “Startup Advice”.
The consultation will be held by the Deputy Director of IT Park – Abdulakhad Kuchkarov and Director of the Venture Investment Association – Dilshod Zufarov. “Startup Advice” will allow you to receive feedback and valuable tips to improve the quality of your project, and will also help you find the right direction for your movement towards successful project implementation.
