IT Park held a meeting with the International Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce

On September 6, 2021, IT Park organized a meeting between the International Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the People‘s Republic of Bangladesh on Electronic Commerce, as well as the Electronic Commerce Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the meeting attended Director of the Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bangladesh Shomi Kaiser, Advisor to the Ministry of Communications of Bangladesh Sami Ahmed, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan accredited to Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Md Zahangir Alam, Deputy Director for Innovation, Head of the IT Park Startup Ecosystem Development Department Farrukh Maksumov, Chairman of the Association of Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Azamov and Director of Fargo Azamat Abdullaev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the exchange of training programs, which are supervised with the support of UNDP, the creation of workshops, as well as the organization of visit programs for successful Bangladesh companies to Uzbekistan and vice versa. These visits will be useful in terms of exchange of experience between the parties in the field of fintech, logistics and f-commerce.

As a result, the sides identified areas for further cooperation and discussed plans for joint activities. Also, between the International Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on Electronic Commerce and the Electronic Commerce Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
