IT Park residents will be able to provide IT English training services

On June 7, 2023 the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution ‘On introducing amendments and additions, as well as recognizing as invalid some decisions of the government of Uzbekistan in connection with the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On electronic digital signature’. 

As a result of the modifications, IT Park residents are now granted permission to offer English language instruction services with an emphasis on ICT terminology (IT English). However, there is a one condition: the combined annual income of residents from these activities must not exceed 40% of the company's total revenue. The new regulation is anticipated to aid in the development of young people's knowledge of English and ICT terminology, and as a result, national IT company employees with excellent language skills will be better able to compete on the global market and draw in more clients, assisting in the growth of the export of IT services in the state.
