Jakhongir Radjabov, Business Development Director, and Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from Amazon Web Services (AWS), headed by Inna Ozhogina, Regional Director for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Mongolia. The discussions centered on workforce development, particularly the training of cloud engineers, as well as prospects for supporting startup projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s largest provider of cloud services and infrastructure. The company employs over 60,000 specialists, with annual revenues exceeding $90 billion. AWS offers a comprehensive range of solutions for both the private and public sectors, including cloud storage, computing capacity, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Its regional offices are located across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
During the meeting, the parties examined opportunities for organizing joint initiatives and establishing an IT community, enhancing workforce training, and implementing AI-based technological solutions within government institutions.
AWS representatives also shared their experience of operations in Central Asia. The parties further explored the potential for cooperation with IT Park Ventures in the area of supporting startups and venture projects.
Partnership with AWS presents Uzbekistan with new opportunities for advancing digital transformation, strengthening the startup ecosystem, and fostering the country’s integration into the global community of technological leaders.
