IT Park Uzbekistan and Gamepons Explore Strategic Collaboration in Game Development

IT Park Uzbekistan held a meeting with Vusal Karimli, Co-Founder and CEO of Gamepons, a leading Azerbaijani company actively fostering the development of the regional gaming ecosystem. The discussion primarily focused on establishing a strategic partnership to strengthen ties among regional gaming communities and introducing the Turkic Game Jam, a new regional gaming hackathon brand. 

Gamepons is a prominent figure in Azerbaijan’s gaming industry, renowned for offering bespoke educational programs, workshops, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities for game developers. The company is dedicated to supporting the establishment of new gaming startups and fortifying the local gaming community, thereby reinforcing Azerbaijan’s position as a hub of innovation and creativity in the global gaming sector. 

The meeting covered the participation formats of IT Park Uzbekistan in the Turkic Game Jam, an initiative designed to unite game developers from across Central Asia and stimulate their creative and professional development. Discussions also addressed avenues for advancing Uzbekistan’s Game Development industry through Gamepons-led initiatives, including startup support, educational programs, and the creation of a conducive environment for fostering international collaborations.
