Khorezm technical school at TUIT will become a branch of the Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications

IT PARK signed a memorandum with the Kazan Technical School of information technology and communication regarding the issues of the Khorezm Technical School at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorezmi. The Memorandum allows developing cooperation between the parties in such directions as:

1. Providing assistance to the development of the vocational education system (internships, retraining and advanced training of teachers);
2. Joint implementation of international scientific, educational, innovative and practical projects;
3. Participation of the parties in joint events;
4. Carrying out promotions and mutual image formation;
5. Provision of advisory support.

In the near future, professional retraining courses will be organized for teachers of the Khorezm technical school on the basis of the Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications.  Additionally, the laboratories of the Khorezm technical school will be equipped on the example of the Kazan technical school, taking into account all the standards of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tatarstan.

For reference, the Kazan Technical School of Information Technologies and Communications was organized in 1932, and since then more than 36 thousand people have received education there.

Nowadays, more than 100 people are teaching at the technical school.  Of these, 37 specialists have the highest category, 36 specialists have various honorary titles, 2 specialists have scientific degrees of Candidate of Sciences, and 3 specialists are candidates for the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences.

The technical school has a developed infrastructure: at the disposal of students, educational and laboratory buildings with a total area of ​​more than 10 thousand square meters which has 38 laboratories, 24 rooms, 6 workshops and 10 computer classes.
