On March 2, 2020, Bouygues, one of the largest Europe construction companies, paid visit to IT Park. This company owns its branches in 93 countries globally. The group controls the telecommunications company Bouygues Telecom, one of the top three mobile operators in France and the TV channel TF1.

This company, among other fields, also has excelled in mechanical engineering and is deemed the largest shareholder in Alstom, the engineering corporation. It has constructed facilities in France such as the Channel Tunnel, La Défense Arch, Terminal 2 of Charles de Gaulle Airport, motorways, etc.\

As for Central Asia, in this region it has its own branch in Turkmenistan, where it ranks second in Tukrmenia under the concluded contracts for the building construction. Among the company's projects in Turkmenistan are the Presidential Palace, the building of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, the Oguzkent and Yildiz hotels, etc. The company is deemed one of the largest employers in Ashgabat.

It is noteworthy that the scale of this company can be easily measured by the number of its employees, which in total exceeds 129 thousand people. The groupʼs income for 2018 is amounted to over $ 40 billion, net profit over $ 1.5 billion, and capitalization of about $ 12 billion.

A meeting with representatives of this company was held at IT Park, where both sides discussed a number of important and relevant issues. Bouygues representatives also made a presentation and spoke about their desired future plans for the construction of Smart City in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties set plans for the near future, a joint direction of movement and agreed on further partnership.
