The Astrum IT Academy will host the President Tech Award hackathon

From October 13th to 15th, a hackathon will take place at the IT Academy Astrum as part of the President Tech Award competition.

Participants of the competition will work on projects in one of the following directions:

  • Artificial Intelligence Technologies — Innovative solutions utilizing AI to tackle complex problems;
  • Digital Technologies in Education — Products and services aimed at improving the learning process and making it more accessible;
  • Digital Technologies in Healthcare — Projects contributing to the improvement of peopleʼs health and lives through digital solutions;
  • Entrepreneurship and Financial Technologies — Ideas related to enhancing business processes and financial technologies;
  • Cybersecurity Technologies — Innovative solutions to ensure security in the network.

Projects will be evaluated by experts based on several criteria:

  • Relevance of the proposed startup project;
  • Assessment of the attainability of the startup projectʼs results;
  • Assessment of the projectʼs potential competitive advantages;
  • Assessment of the market demand for the product or service;
  • Completeness of the product;
  • Assessment of the teamʼs potential;
  • Technical implementation.

The winner of the hackathon will receive a grant of $100,000, which will assist in bringing the idea to fruition. Additionally, following the competition, the top 10 outstanding projects will be identified, which will receive invitations to ICT Week 2023, where the award ceremony for the winner will take place.

It is worth reminding that the application submission period was open from May 1st to September 1st. During this period, more than 650 individuals registered for the hackathon, forming over 170 teams.
