On July 24, the first “Uzbek-Turkish Business Forum” commenced, organized by the technoparks “Bilkent Cyberpark” and “Technopark Gazi” with the participation of IT Park Uzbekistan. The event was attended by representatives from Uzbek and Turkish IT companies with the aim of discussing plans for joint development.
Bilkent Cyberpark is a Turkish technopark in Ankara focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of information technology. It hosts over 200 Turkish companies operating in various sectors.
Technopark Gazi, also located in Ankara, aims to create and develop an innovative ecosystem, as well as support scientific research and development.
The event was attended by representatives from more than 15 Turkish companies, including Adaal Bilisim, Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş., Felekomünikasyon İletişim Hizmetleri Dış Ticaret Limited, Akıllı Bilisim Anonim Şirketi, Cloudpeer Global Bilisim A.Ş., and others. From IT Park, representatives from member companies such as Uzinfocom, Exact IT, Everbestlab, TrustMe, and others were present. All participating companies provide services in areas such as software development, smart cities, electronic document management, artificial intelligence, and more.
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between IT Park Uzbekistan, Bilkent Cyberpark, and Technopark Gazi. The agreement aims to establish partnerships, develop international connections, facilitate investment attraction for projects, provide consulting support, exchange market information, and create an environment for international collaboration.
The main part of the forum featured a series of B2B meetings where Uzbek and Turkish companies discussed potential partnership opportunities between Uzbekistan and Turkey. Participants also exchanged ideas on creating a conducive environment for the technological development of IT sectors in both countries through mutual cooperation to achieve common goals.
Several important and beneficial agreements for Uzbekistan were concluded during the event.
PDP Ecosystem agreed to continue negotiations on cooperation with the Turkish company Bimser. During preliminary discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of strategic partnership in digital technologies and business process optimization. Further negotiations are expected to result in joint projects aimed at implementing innovative solutions across various business sectors.
Everestlab conducted B2B meetings with four Turkish companies, two of which were identified as having high potential for partnership agreements.
The Uzbek-Turkish Business Forum provided a unique opportunity for collaboration and joint development of the IT sectors in Turkey and Uzbekistan. Representatives from both countries expressed confidence that the forum would serve as a starting point for numerous mutually beneficial projects and innovative initiatives. The ideas and proposals discussed at the event are focused on fortifying bilateral ties, developing technological infrastructure, and creating new job opportunities.
