The Minister of ICT visited the residents of IT Park in Nukus – “Texnopos IT mektebi” and “Data Life”

On February 24, 2022, the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, as part of a working trip to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, got acquainted with the activities of the IT-learning centers “Texnopos IT mektebi” and “Data Life” – residents of IT Park in the city of Nukus.

The learning center “Texnopos IT mektebi” began its activity in November 2020 and conducts classes in web-programming, Android-programming, mobile game creation, 3D-animation, graphic design.

Currently, about 150 students are studying at the learning center of the “Texnopos IT mektebi” centers.  The number of graduates is 360 people.

The learning center “Texnopos IT mektebi” has implemented about 20 projects in the field of culture, medicine, and tourism.  Currently, the management of the center has set a goal to organize an IT-Academy.

The Minister of ICT also got acquainted with the activities of the “Data Life” training center.  This training center provides courses on computer literacy, front-end-programming, PHP-programming, Java-programming, Android-programming.  It currently has 150 students.  The number of graduates is 480 people.

The Center has implemented about 20 projects.  Tasks were set to further expand the activities of the center, establish links with foreign companies and enter foreign markets.

During the visit, the Minister of ICT paid special attention to the implementation of fruitful cooperation with training centers in the framework of the wide involvement of young people in the field of ICT and the training of qualified IT-specialists.
