The Newmark Group ready to support IT Park in attracting BPO companies to Uzbekistan

The International Digital Leadership Forum, held in the capital city from July 7 to 9, was an event that has had a significant impact on the field of digital leadership. With the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park, this forum gathered leading experts and representatives of BPO and outsourcing companies, as well as consultants and specialists in investment, export and attraction of outsourcing companies.

Within the framework of the forum, meetings were organized with the General Director of IT Park to discuss possible cooperation. In particular, the Head of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov met with the Managing Director of The Newmark Group, Jeff Pappas.

Jeff Pappas is a professional with over 20 years of real estate experience. Represents corporate clients locally and nationally, managing their real estate needs and negotiating leases.  Successfully completed over 1 million sq. ft. of rental transactions, valued at over $25 million. He is a Member of the State Legislative Committee.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of business process outsourcing. Jeff Pappas shared his opinion on the potential of Uzbekistan as the leader in the BPO direction.

“I can clearly see why you will be the leader in this region. First of all, you have the people. They are interested in business, open to cooperation and speak in different languages.

Uzbekistan has great potential and opportunities. I know that the preferential conditions created in the country will make new companies entering the Uzbek market feel needed. As one of the largest countries in the region, you have profitability, which is expressed not only in salary itself, but also in the cost of fuel, communications, travel. I would also note the high level of comfort of staying in the city and its environs and moving around the city”.

The specialist expressed readiness to help IT Park establish contacts with Newmark Group Alorica clients, Transparent BPO, Sitel, TSYS and Akorbi BPO companies and attract them to Uzbekistan.
