The Uzbekistan delegation participated in the international forum Digital Tajikistan 2025

The international forum “Digital Tajikistan 2025” was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of a delegation led by the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies from various countries, IT companies, experts, as well as representatives of international organizations at both global and regional levels.

The forum’s agenda focused on best practices in the development of the digital economy, the enhancement of e-government systems, and the adoption of artificial intelligence technologies and digital services.

In his address, Minister Sherzod Shermatov presented an overview of the comprehensive reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in the areas of e-government and digital economy. He outlined ongoing efforts aimed at improving the accessibility of digital public services for citizens and businesses, ensuring information security, and advancing digital literacy.

Furthermore, forum participants were briefed on cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the digital sector, including initiatives in IT talent development, the growth of the startup ecosystem, and the implementation of promising digital projects.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation also examined Tajikistan’s latest achievements in information technology, efforts to modernize digital infrastructure, and the ongoing digitalization of public services.
