Uzbekistan participates for the first time in the international competition World AI & Data Challenge!

The Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the World Bank launched the World AI & Data Challenge, an international competition aimed at addressing global socio-economic challenges through big data processing and artificial intelligence technologies.

Stages of the World AI & Data Challenge competition:

Stage 1 - Challenge Contest (February-May 2020)
Stage 2 - Solutions Contest (June-September 2020)
Stage 3 - Implementation Competition (September 2020 - February 2021)

As part of this competition, online data hackathons are held at the second stage in all participating regions! Participants can be IT and data specialists, students of specialized specialties from different universities, specialists of IT companies from different countries!

On June 27-28, with the support of IT Park, the World Bank, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the State Committees of the Republic of Uzbekistan this year Uzbekistan joined the contest and will also hold an online data hackathon!

At the first stage of the competition 147 tasks were submitted from Singapore, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and 43 regions of Russia. The best tasks selected by the expert jury of the contest will be presented to you for solution, both within the framework of data-hackaton, and for independent development after the event. And organizers and experts of the event will help to understand them.

Experts in the field of AI & Data for two days will become mentors for developers and will share their experience in the implementation of projects in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis, as well as help participants to reconcile hypotheses of solving problems and, if desired, will take the best children to accompany MVP-solutions.

The hackathon itself will take place online for 48 hours. Participants will be offered about 40 tasks at the international and regional levels for development.
Uzbekistan submitted to the contest the task "Combating poverty and improving the quality of life."

You can participate both with the team and yourself. After the second stage, the best participants will have the opportunity to implement their solutions internationally, receive training and receive cash prizes.
