Visit of Enterprise Singapore representatives to IT Park

On April 30, 2023, the IT Park Uzbekistan office was visited by the Enterprise Singapore delegation.

The purpose of the visit is to discuss cooperation in the development of IT entrepreneurship and education.

The delegation included Regional Director of the European office of the company in Turkey  Yogeindran Thiayagarajah and Senior Business Development Manager of the European office of the company Guvenc Gures.

The guests were welcomed by the First Deputy Director of IT Park Abdulahad Kuchkarov, Head of the Startup Ecosystem Development Department Jahongir Kagirov and International Cooperation Manager Umida Odilova.

The visit was a continuation of the discussions that began with the visit of the IT Park delegation to Singapore as part of the Uzbek-Singapore business forum at the beginning of the year.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of IT-entrepreneurship, the possibility of supporting startups and companies of the two countries, as well as further steps to strengthen ties between the ecosystems of the two countries.

Representatives of the delegation expressed their interest in further strengthening relations and their readiness to support IT Park in building ties with Singaporean accelerators and venture funds.

The First Deputy Director of IT Park expressed readiness to continue cooperation and work on joint programs in the future.

Summing up the meeting, the delegates highlighted the positive changes that have taken place in the IT industry and the amazing growth of the IT and BPO private sector, as well as the extraordinarily rapid development of IT Park.

The delegation also had a tour of the new IT Park cluster and the Tashkent branch, during which the guests were able to get acquainted with the growth rate of infrastructure and the vast network of IT Park branches.
