A delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister Sherzod Shermatov and with the participation of the First Deputy Director of IT Park Abdulahad Kuchkarov, is on a working visit to the Peopleʼs Republic of China.
On April 19, a meeting was held with Zhang Yang, Deputy Director for International Relations of Zhongguancun Technology Park (Z-Park), Project Manager Zhou Teng and others.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint programs in the field of IT entrepreneurship and support for Chinese start-ups/companies when entering the markets of Central Asia, proposals for organizing trainings for start-ups and top managers from both sides, and also discussed the issues of signing a memorandum of cooperation.
Zhongguancun Technology Park (Z Park) is the technological and scientific center of China's IT industry, a place of research, development and production. The technology park is located in the Haidian district, northwest of Beijing. The area of the technopark is 488 thousand square meters, and the total area of the technopark buildings, including 16 subparks, is 1,750,000 square meters. At the moment, more than 20,000 enterprises are registered in the technopark, and about 2 million people work in them.
On April 20, a delegation from Uzbekistan met with the Head of the marketing department of ELINC, Yi Su, and technical staff.
During the meeting, they visited the exhibition base to get acquainted with the solutions and products of the company. On the basis of the exhibition, technologies created for cybersecurity were presented. Representatives of Uzbekistan were introduced to the laboratory of training courses on cybersecurity.
After the exhibition, the parties agreed to continue negotiations on organizing cybersecurity training courses in Uzbekistan and implementing bilateral effective projects in the future.
