“Yosh Dasturchi”: IT Park Supports Young Developers with Special Needs

On May 22–23, the Tashkent branch of IT Park Uzbekistan hosted the inclusive “Yosh Dasturchi” competition, aimed at supporting and advancing projects by young developers with visual impairments. The event was organized to promote equal opportunities in the field of information technology and to foster inclusion within Uzbekistan’s IT community. The national stage of the competition was jointly organized by the Society of the Blind of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan.

The competition brought together talented young developers aged 18 to 30 with Group I and II disabilities from 10 regions of the country. Participants are actively engaged in developing digital solutions and IT products using specialized software and tools.

Empowering Through Technology
Participants showcased their software solutions, applications, and other digital projects tailored to the needs and capabilities of visually impaired users. The competition served not only as a platform to demonstrate professional skills but also as an inspiration for other young people with disabilities to pursue growth in the tech industry.

On the first day, participants competed across four categories, each assessed by a separate panel of judges with category-specific tasks. This format ensured a fair and professional evaluation process.

The second day featured a training seminar, open discussions, and an official awards ceremony for the winners.
