«Create your own startup idea» marathon kicks off

Tashkent hosts the «Marathon: Create your own startup idea» May 10 to 15 for students of Universities with functioning Incubation Centers.

The marathon is run by IT Park in close cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Youth Affairs Agency, Eskiz IT Company, Registan IT School and Unical Solutions.

In the five-days-event, participants will dive into daily workshops. Each day will wrap up with students' homework check.

The most thriving participants who have completed all tasks will have the opportunity to take part in the ideas contest with the chance to win a prize.

By the end of the program, students will acquire a certificate of completion, which grants them a pass to take part in an incubation program at the Incubation Center at their universities.

Students of the following Universities list are eligible:

1. INHA University in Tashkent
2. Amity University in Tashkent
3. The Branch of the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov
4. Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent
5. Tashkent Institute of Finance
6. Tashkent State University of Economics
7. Uzbekistan State World Languages University
8. Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent
9. Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute
10. University of World Economy and Diplomacy
11. Journalism and Mass Communications University

Participation terms for contest of ideas:

1. Actively participate in all the workshops (from May 10 to 14). Workshops take place in the evening;

2. Do all the homework.  Prepare a presentation of your idea by May 15;

3. On the first day of the marathon, assemble a team of three participants: all attendees must be students of different universities.

Workshops will proceed in Russian.

Applications for the marathon are open until May 6 (until 18:00).
