Export volume of residents in 2022 reached $140 million

Export volume of IT Park residents continues to maintain a positive dynamics.  So, according to the results of the 4th quarter of 2022, it grew to $140 million, of which $65.1 million fell on the export of services of BPO companies. At the same time, 81% of exports are accounted for by the USA, the rest – by the UK, Germany, Russia, the CIS and the UAE.

Growth is also observed in the total volume of services provided by IT Park residents. It amounted to 5.1 trillion soums, which is 2 times more than the same period last year. In terms of directions, the volume was distributed as follows:

• software development – 2.78 trillion soums
• data processing – 1.5 trillion soums
• BPO – 729.1 billion soums
• IT-education – 83.3 billion soums
• IT-consulting – 8.5 billion soums

Recall that at the end of 2022, the number of IT Park residents amounted to 1122 companies, and on March 1, 2023 it reached 1173 (830 companies are located in Tashkent, and 343 – in the regions), of which:

• 419 – newly opened companies;
• 173 – companies with foreign capital;
• 229 – educational companies;
• 352 – exporting companies, of which: 188 – development companies and 164 – BPO companies

It should be noted that thanks to the benefits provided, IT Park residents create additional jobs and increase the number of IT specialists in our country. As of January 1, 2023 – 18,000 people operate in resident companies.

Earlier, at the press conference dedicated to the achievements of IT Park in 2022, it became known that by the end of 2023 it is planned to increase the export volume of IT services to $300 million, and next year to $500 million.
