From hackathons to global markets: IT Park and Software Wizards strengthen cooperation

IT Park Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the management of the resident companies that provide export services, headed by Anton Novikov, Acting Vice President for Engineering at Software Wizards Tashkent, under the leadership of Makhliyo Muksinova, Director of Service Export Development. During the meeting, Software Wizards management presented the renewed management team and stressed the importance of continuous dialogue with IT Park on a number of priority areas.

Software Wizards, which opened in Uzbekistan in December 2021, became a member of IT Park in May 2022. The company is part of DSR Corporation, an international company headquartered in the United States and with offices in Portugal, Japan, Canada and others. DSR Corporation chose Uzbekistan due to its favourable investment environment and government support for digital innovation.

Main areas of cooperation

Education and human resources development

The company expressed its willingness to expand the participation of its training centre in IT Park's educational initiatives - from joint courses and internships to inviting experts to give lectures and master classes.

Organisation of events

Software Wizards is interested in holding joint mitaps, hackathons, conferences and other IT events at the park's venue aimed at promoting digital technology professions among students and aspiring professionals.

Strategic initiatives and international positioning

DSR Corporation is ready to get involved in key IT Park projects aimed at building an international image of Uzbekistan as a technological hub of Central Asia.

Support for young specialists

Special attention was paid to the issues of attracting young personnel to the industry and developing the presence of the company's training centre in the Uzbek market. DSR Corporation Training Centre has been conducting free courses in the international market for more than 14 years.

In 2024/2025 academic year Software Wizards held the following courses in Tashkent: QA School: Application, QA School: Embedded, Embedded Systems Lab and JS Bootcamp: Deep Dive into React. During the year 40 students were trained. In the future, the company plans to expand cooperation with universities to attract more talented students and develop educational programmes.

Entering global markets

Makhliyo Muxinova spoke about the expansion of IT Park's geography - today representative offices have been opened in the USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia. These areas represent growth points for promoting the export potential of Uzbek IT companies, including members such as Software Wizards.

IT Park continues to strengthen partnerships with international players by developing joint initiatives in education, training and access to global markets.
