Elbek Kariev, IT Park Uzbekistan’s representative in the U.S., held a meeting with Keith Glendan, Senior Director of Solutions and Software Innovation at Capgemini Engineering R&D. During the meeting, Elbek Kariev presented Uzbekistan’s potential as a new IT hub in Central Asia.
Capgemini, founded in 1967 in Grenoble, France, is one of the world’s largest consulting firms specializing in management and information technology. Headquartered in Paris, Capgemini reported revenue of €22.5 billion in 2023. The company operates in over 50 countries and employs approximately 360,000 people. Its core activities include consulting, technology and engineering services, and outsourcing, with key sectors spanning manufacturing, financial services, energy, consumer goods, public sector, and telecommunications.
Atos
Elbek Kariev also held discussions with Larry Bissinger, Vice President and Head of Alliance Ecosystem for North America. The parties agreed to hold another meeting in early April in Chicago. During the talks, the IT Park representative highlighted Uzbekistan’s potential and proposed the establishment of an office in the country.
Atos, a French corporation, specializes in systems integration, IT consulting, business process outsourcing, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and big data management. With a presence in 69 countries and around 48,000 employees, Atos is committed to leveraging digital technologies to enhance critical aspects of its clients’ operations and societal impact.
Pegasystems
The conference also featured a meeting with representatives from Pegasystems (Pega), a leading developer of software for workflow automation and AI-driven decision-making. Pega provides a low-code platform for developing, deploying, and managing enterprise applications. The company is renowned for its solutions in business process management (BPM) and customer relationship management (CRM), offering both on-premise and cloud-based platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
The IT Park representative arranged a follow-up meeting with Pega’s global expansion team in Boston, scheduled for May 2025, to discuss potential collaboration and the establishment of an outsourcing center in Uzbekistan.

Salesforce
Elbek Kariev met with Serdar Susuz, CEO of Inspark, representing Salesforce in the APAC and MENA regions. With plans for expansion, Inspark was briefed on IT Park’s current achievements and programs. Elbek Kariev extended an invitation to participate in ICT Week in Uzbekistan, scheduled for September of this year.
