“Hack4Region” has ended in Jizzakh region 

On July 29-30, the hackathon “Hack4Region” was held in Jizzakh region, organized by IT Park together with the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as all universities in the region.

“Hack4Region” is a hackathon in which participants had to develop a product designed to solve a problem in our society within two days. 

Specially invited experts and mentors gave advice and instructions to the participants on how to effectively and quickly implement a minimum viable product (MVP) within 48 hours.

A total of 97 applications were submitted for participation in the competition. As part of the hackathon, young programmers divided into 28 teams presented their projects to the jury. 

According to the results of the jury's assessments, the following teams became winners and owners of valuable prizes from the organizers:

1st place – ReCore (a digital development project for the business sector, for entrepreneurs to view and select all outdoor and indoor advertising objects);

2nd place – Agro Industry (an agricultural digitalization project that brings together all farmers, investors, agricultural machinery entrepreneurs on one platform);

3rd place – Web Mentor (an online IT course platform that provides young programmers who successfully complete courses with work as interns in IT-companies).

Such hackathons will support the startup ecosystem of Uzbekistan and saturate it with new ideas, people and teams.
