IT Centers of the Week: Where were Digital Learning Centers launched this week?

Surkhandarya region

On November 7, 2020, an IT Center was launched in Bandikhan district of Surkhandarya region.

The opening ceremony of the new IT Center was attended by the heads and employees of the territorial administration of the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan of Surkhandarya region, the khokimiyat of Bandikhan district, honorary workers of the industry, as well as local youth.

This IT Center is equipped with modern computer facilities. The IT Center will organize training courses for youth on improving computer literacy, teaching the basics of programming, web design, computer graphics, etc.  In short, the training center has all the conditions to help population and youth in the field of ICT gain knowledge and improve skills.

Besides, there will also be organized courses to improve the skills of managers and employees of regional enterprises and organizations in the field of ICT.

Khorezm region
On the same day, November 7, 2020, another IT Center was launched in Khanka district of Khorezm region.


Currently, 9 IT-Centers are operating in Khorezm region, each of which has all the conditions for training in information technologies.

The opening ceremony of the IT Center in Khanka region was attended by the Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications B. Olmatov as well as other representatives of the ministry.

The IT Center has separate classrooms for teaching programming, robotics and e-sports. The IT Center is equipped with modern computer facilities, furniture accessories and other technical means of the latest model. Moreover, the training center has all the conditions to help population and youth in the field of ICT gain knowledge and improve skills.

In the nearest future, this center will help local youth increase their knowledge in the field of computer literacy, programming, robotics, effective use of the Internet, e-sports and in other areas. They will also be engaged in the creation of innovative developments in the field of information technology, programming, as well as the development of start-up projects.

Fergana region

On November 9, 2020, an IT Center was launched in Furkat district of Fergana region.

The opening ceremony of the IT Center was attended by the heads and employees of the territorial administration of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan of Fergana region, subordinate enterprises and organizations, the khokimiyat of Furkat region, as well as local youth.

This IT Center, like others, is equipped with modern computer facilities. The IT Center will organize training courses for young people on improving computer literacy, teaching the basics of programming, web design, computer graphics and so forth.

Jizzakh region

On December 12, 2020, an IT Center was opened in the Pakhtakor district of the Jizzakh region.


The opening ceremony was attended by the deputy khokim of the Pakhtakor region, the head of the territorial department of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Jizzakh region, the deputy director of IT Park, the advisor of IT Park, the head of the Jizzakh branch of O'zbektelekom, who spoke about the conditions created for young people in the framework of IT training.

The equipment of the IT Center in the Pakhtakor region is not inferior to the equipment of IT Centers in other regions and regions.

Andijan region

On December 12, 2020, another IT Center opened its doors to young people in the Asaka district of the Andijan region.


The opening ceremony of the IT Center was attended by the heads and employees of the territorial administration of the Ministry of Andijan region, the khokimiyat of the Asaka region, as well as local youth.

The guests of the event got acquainted with the conditions created in the classrooms of the center. It organizes all the conditions for young people to learn programming, web design, e-sports and other IT specialties.


Each IT Center offer youth following spheres:

- Computer literacy;

- In-depth work with MS Office;

- Web programming languages;

- Basics of graphics and design;

- Creating mobile apps;

- The Python programming language;

- Mobile robotics based on Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms;

- As well as eSports: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

IT Centers creates all conditions for local youth in order to help them fully realize their talents, implement ideas, and, of course, spend their free time meaningfully.
