IT Park and Hungarian Technology Company 4iG Plc Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

An official bilateral meeting took place in Budapest between the delegation of Uzbekistan and 4iG Plc, one of Hungary’s leading technology companies. The meeting was attended by Jamol Maksudov, Deputy Minister, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Gellért Jászai, Chairman of the Board of 4iG Plc. The parties discussed the expansion of strategic cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, IT outsourcing, and technological exchange.

4iG Plc is one of the largest technology and telecommunications groups in Hungary, specializing in IT services, telecom infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and digital transformation. Headquartered in Budapest, the 4iG Group comprises 28 subsidiaries, operates in four countries, and employs approximately 8,000 professionals.

Agenda and Key Areas of Cooperation

During the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding, affirming their commitment to long-term and strategic collaboration. The agreement encompasses a broad range of areas, including the development of outsourcing services, the export of IT services, and support for startup ecosystem and acceleration programs.

The parties agreed to undertake joint initiatives involving internships, expert exchanges, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities. Plans were also outlined for participation in international ICT events, the organization of export readiness programs, and the promotion of advanced practices in digital transformation.

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, expressed the organization’s commitment to providing comprehensive support to the partner in navigating the regulatory and legal environment for operations in Uzbekistan.

Particular emphasis was placed on discussing Uzbekistan’s potential as an emerging platform for the expansion of international IT companies, facilitated by its highly skilled workforce, favorable tax incentives, and agile, innovation infrastructure developed under the auspices of IT Park Uzbekistan.

This cooperation with 4iG Plc unlocks new opportunities for enhancing the export capacity of IT Park Uzbekistan and fostering deeper integration with technology firms across the European Union. In the coming weeks, the parties will initiate the implementation of the first items outlined in the roadmap agreed upon during the meeting.
