IT Park held meetings as part of the Dialogue with Youth for Development Initiativ

A platform called “Dialogue with Youth for Development” is currently being created in Uzbekistan.  This is an environment for young people who will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with state and non-state institutions.

The creation of the platform is aimed at increasing the level of youth involvement in the process of introducing information technologies into the economic and social sphere of the country.  This, in turn, will increase the volume of investment attractiveness and will become a condition for creating a favorable climate for the further development of IT.

So, on this project, a meeting was held with students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy to cover the topic “Market and Competitor Analysis for Startups”.

The speaker of the event was Andrey Yakushin, the founder of the consulting company AYConsulting, who previously worked as a natural gas analyst at “LUKOIL”.

During the session Andrey Yakushin told how to calculate the market size for a startup in any country/region;  what is PAM, TAM, SAM, SOM;  how to analyze competitors and where to look for information for market analysis and calculations.

The event was attended by students of different ages.  They asked the speaker their questions, to which the invited expert gave detailed answers.

Also, as part of the project, another Startup Advice for IT companies and startups was held at Amity University on the topic “Modern Google SEO for Startups”, where the mentor was Microsoftʼs SEO optimization expert, entrepreneur and top manager, owner of several companies in Russia and  United States (Pulse Poll, Reputation Management Kings, Favorite Words), who for the past three years has worked as head of search engine optimization at Microsoft, managing one of the worldʼs largest technical communities called “Answers” Shavkat Karimov.

The master class was intended for companies planning to get search traffic to their website, as well as those who want to learn more about modern search engine optimization (SEO).

During the two-hour session, Shavkat told the participants about how search engines work, introduced effective and non-trivial ways to improve positions in Google and other search engines, and also answered all questions on pressing SEO-tasks.

The initiative “Dialogue with Youth For Development” is being implemented with the support of IT PARK with the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
