IT park incubation center opened at Gulistan State University

On August 30 of this year, the opening ceremony of a new IT Park incubation center was held at Gulistan State University with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications.

The main participants of the event were the Rector of the Gulistan State University Mukhsin Khodzhaev, the Vice-Rector of the Gulistan State University Kushiev Khabibjon, the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Health in the Syrdarya region, Yuldashev Rustam, and the IT Park digital transformation project manager Salimov Ramazon-Jasur.

The activities of the incubation center at Gulistan State University are determined taking into account the importance of developing information technologies, providing comprehensive support to talented youth and IT education in Uzbekistan, as well as order to create and maintain a startup ecosystem in all regions of the country.

The main goals of opening incubation centers in all regions of Uzbekistan are to increase the number and quality of created innovative projects, identify the talents of young people, conduct incubation programs for promising business ideas and provide timely comprehensive support to the leaders of these projects.

This incubation center will allow students to master basic and fundamental knowledge in the field of a startup ecosystem, as well as create favorable conditions for students to create small technology projects.
