IT Park representatives were awarded on Occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On August 29 of this year, at the Muhammad al-Khorezmi Specialized School for Advanced Study of Information Technologies, a solemn ceremony was held to award the heads and employees of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as subordinate organizations and enterprises for their fruitful work and contribution to the development of the information sector. communication technologies in honor of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was held under the leadership of the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Sadikov with the participation of representatives of the regional departments of the Ministry.

State awards were received by IT Park Director Farhod Ibragimov, Deputy Director for Regional Development of IT Park Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, Deputy Director of IT Park for International Affairs Bohodir Ayupov, Deputy Director of IT Park for Innovative Development Jakhongir Rajabov, Director of the Jizzakh branch of IT Park Mukhitdinova Nazira, Education Manager Of the Karakalpak branch of IT Park Elmuratov Madiyar, as well as employees of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and other representatives of subordinate organizations.

During the award ceremony, the incomparable contribution to the development of the information technology sector and the startup ecosystem from IT Park was mentioned, the branches of which are opening in all regions of the republic. To date, 8 IT Park branches have been successfully opened in Andijan, Fergana, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Samarkand, Bukhara, Navoi and Kashkadarya regions, and the volume of IT products and services produced has grown by 160% compared to 2020, which is 1 trillion soums in the first half of this year.

In addition to this, today there are 463 resident companies of IT Park, and the number of permitted types of services has grown from 4 to 18, which includes such activities as robotics, data analysis, IT outsourcing, etc.

As the demand for IT specialists grows in Uzbekistan, IT Park is establishing IT Centers in all regions and the country, the total number of which is 147 out of 205 planned by the end of this year. Thanks to IT Centers, representatives of the younger generation are deeply studying programming, robotics, graphic design, e-sports and other types of in-demand IT areas. It should be noted that more than 10 billion soums were allocated for the creation and implementation of the activities of IT Centers.

In the era of digitalization of industries, there is a growing need for the development of information technology, which directly affects economic growth and scientific and technological progress in the country. Today, the republic pays special attention to increasing the socio-economic potential of the regions, introducing information and communication technologies and creating conditions for a stable increase in the standard of living of the population. And in matters of implementation, the contribution of workers in this area is invaluable.
