mGovAward finalists determined

From May 10 to 29 experts council evaluated the projects that have been submitted for mGovAward contest. Finalists were determined.

mGovAward is a wide-scale competition for the development of mobile applications in government services with $100,000 prize pool.

In total, out of 104 submitted applications 84 were selected. Project ideas were evaluated by experts from ministries and the UAE government. According to the results of the evaluation of the expert council, 20 teams made it to the finals.

The Demo Day (finals) will take place on June 4 at the Astrum IT Academy. The main prize - $100,000. 
List of finalists: 

• Braille Recognition — a mobile application for Braille recognition from images taken with a smartphone camera (without the use of special equipment);

• Tahrirchi — free Uzbek language spell checking software keyboard for Android.  Supports:
 - spell checker (including Tashkent dialect);
 - auto-completion (addition of the next affix);
 - prediction of the next root from Cyrillic to Latin and vice versa, directly from the keyboard;
 - Grammar check for spelling errors;

• Lalu – Onalar maktabi — application for pregnant women and mothers with newbirn babies.  This is a system for the exchange of reliable information about pregnancy and child care, as well as monitoring the health of mother and child;

• MEDBOX is a mobile application that offers a new online interaction between doctors and patients.  It has important features like document sharing, video calls, meeting management and more. application allows you to talk to an available family doctor, get advice from a general practitioner via video/audio call, select a type of doctor, and make an appointment according to their schedule.  In addition, you can view profiles of specialists, articles and ratings;

• Uhealth — an application aimed at improving healthcare and simplifying the patient's contact with physician;

• Tillo Girl — a mobile application designed for women's health and safety: in case of violence and danger to the girl, she sends the location to selected contacts via SMS, finds the nearest bus stops, pharmacies, police station, hospitals.  When a panic button is removed, a message is sent to the selected contacts stating that it is safe and where it is located.  Also here you can find information related to the health of girls;

• Metaverse Medic is a learning platform for those who are interested in medicine, using the platform you can see parts of the human body in AR and 3D;

• Robocontest.uz is one of the most advanced platforms that helps users improve their programming skills, expand their knowledge.  In the system, you can learn c++, python, java and other modern programming languages.  The system also allows you to study robotics online on virtual simulators and real devices;

• Don't waste is an app where users can find food nearby to buy or donate. They can also sell or donate their products while they are still safe to consume;

• Inson CRM (I-CRM) — the application helps to manage a large number of online requests and streamline them so that they are easy to process.  Moreover, Inson CRM (I) can help many government organizations that work interactively with the inquiries of the population, allowing them to process information efficiently;

• HealthyMe — the application is designed for correct online diagnostics, built using well-designed algorithms.  After the diagnosis, the user can get a list of medicine for treatment, as well as schedule appointments with physician and set an an appointment time according to patient's time;

• Uzdevs is an online learning platform for programming. Uzdevs contains interactive and easy-to-understand programming lessons, tests, practical exercises, etc. The main mission of the project is to promote the professional growth of professional programmers around the world;

• MentorMe is a platform that connects mentors (experienced and well-qualified professionals) with aprentice.  They provide tools that make collaboration effective on both sides so that mentors get some value (payment, experience) and aprentice achieve their goals;

 • Utour – guides in Uzbekistan — a service for finding guides in Uzbekistan.  Database of guides, translators, drivers, attendants and tour operators.  The service will provide an opportunity to plan a vacation in Uzbekistan according to interests (tours, history, adventures, national food, shopping, etc.);

 • Wisdom dictionary — the dictionary has over 120,000 words and phrases.  This is the only dictionary with the largest number of words and phrases in Uzbekistan;

 • Edumanager — a platform designed to manage groups, including payment control, payroll, tests, video tutorials, student fees, dashboards for 5 roles (owner, administrator, teacher, parent, student), visits, etc.;

 • My Health vessels — the application deciphers the results of a blood test (coagulogram).  Based on the results of the analysis, an individual diet (diet), daily water intake, and physical activity are selected;

 • Ecogram — the application allows you to take care of the environment and receive bonuses for this, which can be exchanged for discounts or other offers from sponsored companies;

 • MathTask Setagi — a puzzle that develops arithmetic and logical thinking;

 • Eco Portal — the app helps people lead a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle.
