Minister of ICT Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with a resident of IT Park “Exadel”

On February 15, 2022, an online meeting was held between the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov and the IT Park resident company “Exadel” represented by Chief Operating Officer Yelena Krukovskaya.

The meeting was also attended by Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov, Vice-President for Implementation and Implementation of “Exadel” projects Mikhail Andrushkevich, Director of the “Exadel” office in Uzbekistan Yulia Yakovleva, Deputy Director of IT Park for Regional Development Abdulahad Kuchkarov, Deputy Director of IT Park for international activities Bohodir Ayupov and others.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of training IT personnel in Uzbekistan, the possibility of expanding the activities of “Exadel”, creating comfortable conditions for the activities of the organization, as well as attracting senior specialists to Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the “Exadel” IT company expressed their desire to continue expanding their activities on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to train even more young people in IT specialties and accept them into their team, as well as to attract senior specialists to the country to help novice local developers to learn and share experiences and knowledge.

For his part, Sherzod Shermatov noted that he was ready to support the company in fulfilling the planned tasks of the company to train young people and attract experienced foreign specialists.  The minister suggested that the company expand its activities, open its offices and attract young people to the IT-sphere in the regions of Uzbekistan, in particular, in Ferghana Valley, where it will be possible to create a large IT community.

In addition, Sherzod Shermatov said that at the moment a large-scale project called IT-Visa is being developed, which will help simplify the process of relocation of senior specialists to Uzbekistan and will create comfortable conditions for their professional activities and life in general.

Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov also added that the regional branches of IT Park will provide all the amenities for the work of local IT specialists of the “Exadel” company, and also expressed his readiness to assist in teaching young people IT specialties, and offered assistance in expanding training and jobs so that more and more young people receive a qualified education with a guarantee of further employment.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to join forces to work on all of the above tasks in order to create even more opportunities for the growth and development of IT specialists in Uzbekistan in the near future.
