Pitch Day results as part of Tumaris.Tech

IT Park, with the support of the USAID Entrepreneurship and Business Environment Development Project, Beeline Uzbekistan digital operator, Wonder Women international community, and TBC Bank, launched Central Asian incubation and acceleration programs under the Tumaris.Tech project aimed at developing women's startups.  projects at different stages.

On July 15, Pitch Day was held for startups in the incubation program, and on July 16 - in the acceleration program.  The selection was attended by novice teams with a startup idea and more experienced teams with a developed business model and MVP.

A total of 148 applications were accepted, of which 71 projects were presented at Pitch Day.  For each project, 3 minutes were allocated for the presentation of products and 2-3 minutes for communication with the jury members.

As a result of Pitch Day, 16 projects from Uzbekistan, 15 from Kazakhstan, 12 from Kyrgyzstan, 2 from Tajikistan and 1 from Turkmenistan were selected for incubation and acceleration programs (the list of teams can be found below).

The members of the jury were:
 • Rada Islamova – Founder/CEO Wonder Women (Kazakhstan);
 • Anna Dzhiyanova - Head of Corporate Applications Support Department at Beeline (Uzbekistan);
 • Zaytuna Saidullaeva - Executive Director of "Beehive Design & Development" (Tajikistan);
 • Aisalkyn Talasbekova - Business Analyst at John Galt / OCIF (Kyrgyzstan);
 • Dastan Asylbekov - Business Development Analyst at Accelerate Prosperity (Kyrgyzstan);
 • Anna Matsko — coordinator of Wonder Women Mentorship (Kazakhstan);
 • Elbek Bahromov - project manager at Beeline (Uzbekistan);
 • Farishtamokh Gulova - Director of the NGO "Equal Opportunities" (Tajikistan);
 • Zhyldyz Isabekova - Acceleration Manager at Accelerate Prosperity (Kyrgyzstan).

The incubation and acceleration programs started on July 18 and will be held in Russian for 3 months in an online format.  The programs will include educational and strategic sessions with international experts, tracking with trained professionals, financial literacy courses, oratory and time management workshops, consultations on issues of interest, and networking among the startup community.

The best projects will have the opportunity to visit the international exhibition of start-up projects in Tashkent.  In addition, the most promising projects will be able to gain access to the investment platform, thanks to which they will be able to find an investor to implement their project.

Wonder Women is responsible for the educational content of both programs in terms of speakers.  The community has the strongest Wonder Women Mentorship program.  The best experts and experienced specialists from all over Central Asia in areas such as IT, marketing, entrepreneurship, product management, customer service, etc., acting as mentors, will share knowledge as part of incubation and acceleration.
